Ever-evolving experiences for the local community
Marimekko Kreative was opened in August 2021 in connection with the Copenhagen Fashion Week delighting the city. From the beginning, Kreative has been a constantly evolving meeting place for the local community. During the fashion week, the space showcased our upcoming Spring/ Summer 2022 collection and the visitors had a chance to pre-order the pieces exclusively.
In September, in celebration of 70 years of Marimekko’s empowering silhouettes in iconic prints and colors, we brought to Kreative an array of pre-loved pieces from the 1960s to the 2000s together with Artek 2nd Cycle. In October, ‘At home with Marimekko’ welcomed everyone to an inspirational homelike space with a kitchen, living room, and bedroom, all curated by Creative Director Rebekka Bay together with Kristine Meier Carlsen, the founder of studio x.
Coming soon: Christmas excitement & gifts to love forever
Later this fall, the Kreative will continue featuring exciting, curated themes and events for all our friends in Copenhagen. In November, Marimekko Kreative invites you to the Christmas market to find gifts to love forever.
Closer to Christmas, Kreative will be organized as a space for Christmas excitement with studio x.
